NUT is a collection of six songs that explore the possibilities of sound and rhythm. The album uses a fixed vocabulary of instrument sounds, ranging from acoustic strings to synthesized noise and percussion packed like the layers inside a nut. The texture and gesture of each instrument influence the music composition, creating a dynamic and diverse sonic landscape. The instruments are played more like drum beats than lyrical melodies, giving the album a medium-paced and lethargic vibe. The result is a dreamlike adventure that takes the listener on a journey through different layers of mood and atmospheres.
